Nothing excites me more than a challenge. When my family told me that we were going on a family trip to Hawaii in the summer, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to build my own surfboard. I thought it would be amazing to surf on my own board for the first time, in the surf capital of the world. Through trial and error, I managed to turn a block of foam, into a beautiful, sleek, functional surfboard. The board, fins, leash, and traction pad are all custom made. I also shared my surfboard making story with Billabong and they hooked me up with a few pairs of swim shorts and a rash guard. The picture to the left was taken at "The Pipeline" in Haleiwa, North Shore, also known as the best surf spot in the world.
